Helen Jean Benns, 94 of Bremo Bluff, VA passed away Tuesday,November 10, 2015 peacefully at her home. She was born March 9, 1921 in Elizabeth, New Jersey the daughter of the late Allen and Braddie Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anderson Benns and sisters Catherine Bowman and Hazel Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her lovely memories: two daughters, Marylin Booker and Francesca Ferguson; son, Anthony Benns and daughter-in-law, Sheila Benns, and a sister, Evelyn Lucas.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2015 at Thessalonia Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Thessalonia Baptist Church, 677 Thessalonia Road, Fork Union VA.
Interment will follow in the Jackson-Daniels Family Cemetery.
