Hattie Lillian Vest Fountain 83, of Charlottesville, VA, departed this life on August 18, 2014 at the Golden Living Nursing Center. She was born in Louisa, Virginia on May 16, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Hattie Jackson and Thomas Vest Sr. In additional to her parents and husband, Issac Fountain, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Vest & Thomas Vest Jr.; two sisters, Ruby Vest Ross & Ann Marie Vest and devoted friend, Joe Bennett.

Lillian as she was called, was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, loved to dance and listen to music. Her favorite music was hymns and old school R&B.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Wayne Fountain (Olivia) and Roger Fountain of Charlottesville, VA; three daughters Joyce Morris of Louisa, Brenda Walker (John) and Francine Bennett both of Philadelphia Pennsylvania; five grandsons, Darryn and Jermaine Morris of Louisa VA, Rick-James Fountain of Charlottesville, VA, Victor Fountain of Philadelphia, PA and Perrier of Philadelphia, PA; seven granddaughters, Valerie Wells of Charlottesville, Latoya Quttrocohchi of Upper Marlboro Maryland, Joyce Fountain and Latricia Fountain of Charlottesville, La Keya Tilman & Antoinette of Philadelphia , PA and Arvonti Morris of Charlottesville, VA ; seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lillian you are gone but never forgotten. We will forever carry you in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel in Louisa, VA with the Bishop John Marshall officiating.
