Gloria Ann Johnson Tyler, 60, of Louisa, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Louisa Health Care Center Louisa, Virginia. She was preceded in death by a close friend, Donald Crawford and two sisters, Ruth Sims and Dorothy Jones. Gloria was born April 29, 1948 to the Ruth Jane Johnson and the late Arthur Lee Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Harold Tyler and Micheal Tyler and his wife, Leah; one daughter, Pam Tyler; two grandchildren, De'Shawn and Michael Tyler; one sister, Lorretta Jackson and her husband Marvin; a devoted brother, James E. Johnson and his wife, Mary; nephews, Antonio Johnson, LaDwight Johnson, Antwan Johnson; and his wife Jackie; four aunts; Lucy Shelton of Louisa, Virginia; Mary Mallory of Washington, D.C.; Earma Marton of Richmond and Bernice Stanley of Ashland; one uncle Phil Mickens of Louisa; a devoted friend Karen Turner of Maidens, Virginia; a devoted caregiver Tori Jackson; nieces, Annette Perkins, and Mable Jones and a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 1 PM at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jessie Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mickie Family Cemetery, Maidens, Virginia.
