George (Frank) Franklin Talley, Sr., 90, departed this life on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the
ReTreat Hospital in Richmond, VA. He was born October 17, 1917 to the late Henry Clay Talley
and Daisy Mae Waddy Talley in Louisa County.

He attended school in Louisa County and was a member of Eagle Baptist Church. He served his
country in the United States Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1945 and earned
The Good Conduct Medal and The European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon.

His memory will be cherished by his three daughters, Beverly Henderson, Pamela Talley and
Francelia Derry; step-daughter, Renae Perkins; four sons, George F. Talley, Jr., Ronald Talley,
Gerald Talley and Matthew; sons-in-law; Ronald Henderson and James Curtis; sisters-in-law, Nora
Talley and Lucy Talley; grandchildren, Shawn Talley, Gerald Talley, Chrystal Talley, Kendra Talley,
Samantha Derry and J'Anna Curtis; step grandchildren, LaTanya Talley and Steven Perkins; great
granddaughter, Ahnila Westry; step great grandsons; Tyrin Talley, Jraevon Talley, Jalil Perkins and
Jorden Perkins; nephews, James Talley and Michael Talley and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will meet and greet family and friends at 12:30 p.m at the Eagle Baptist Church (4683
Mt. Airy Road, Louisa,) until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m on Monday, November 12, 2007.
A Military Burial will be in The Talley Family Cemetery, Locust Creek Road, Louisa, with Rev. Dr.
Charles H. Sims, Sr., officiating.
