Gale Smith Glascoe departed this life on July 8, 2012 at her residence in
Louisa, Virginia.

Gale was the daughter of the late Lewis and Louise Smith. Gale was born on
August 2, 1960 and was married to the late John Glascoe. To this happy
union one daughter was born.

Gale accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and became a member
of the Foster Creek Baptist Church, singing in the choir and always praising
the Lord, telling everyone about the goodness of the Lord. In later years she
joined the Rising Sun Baptist Church along with her husband and daughter.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, John and her
brother, Lewis Michael Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her precious daughter, Michelle and
granddaughter, Jocelyn; two stepsons, Brian (Sabine)and Julian (Denise); nine
sisters, Alberta Smith, Virginia Smith, Brenda Ragland (Dennis), Earline
lewis (Danny), Geraldine Jackson (Ronald), Patricia Woolfolk, Lisa
Pendleton, Dorothy Jackson (Roger) and Barbara Morris (Carl); five brothers, Carl
Smith (Rhonda), James Smith (Roberta), Lloyd Smith (Janice), Floyd Smith
(Sandra) and leroy Pendleton, Jr; four loving aunts, Dorothy King, Mabel Smith,
Annie Saunders and Teresa Buckner; five uncles, Larry Pendleton (Debbie), Earl
Pendleton (Tammy), Leroy Pendleton, Sr, Roy Smith and Emmett Smith
(Vanessa); four sisters-in-law, Christine Brown (William), lucy Chapman
(Joseph), Lorraine Reaves (Sanford) and Peggy Glascoe; four brothers-in-law,
Henry Glascoe, Jr. (Beverly), George Glascoe, Allen Glascoe (Penny), Steve
Glascoe (Jackie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and
loving friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Rising Sun Baptist Church, Mineral,VA with the Rev. Arthur Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Pendleton Family Cemetery.
