On Wednesday, December 14, 2011, Freddie Louis Johnson departed this earthly life after a long illness. He was born December 23, 1939 to Burley and Norma Johnson in Louisa, VA.
Freddie attended Louisa Public Schools and worked at various lumber yards throughout his life. At an early age, he confirmed his faith and joined Foster Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Thomas Linwood Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, five children, Ronald, Ernest, Freddie, Jr. (Doris) and Carnette Johnson (Ricky), all of Louisa, VA, and Floyd Johnson (Anita) of Washington, DC; three brothers, Harvey (Emily) and Harry Johnson of Louisa, VA, Gist Johnson of Plainfield, NJ; six sisters, Louise Wise (Clint), Fannie Sims, Jean Washington and Doris Seaberry, all of Louisa, VA, Lois Williams (Clarence) of Temple Hills, MD and Anna Morton (Carl) of Oxon Hill, MD. He also leaves to cherish his memories 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Lorraine Johnson of Kent Store, VA and Gladys Johns of Yonkers, NY and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel, 117 West Street Louisa,VA 23093. Interment will follow in the Burruss Family Cemtery.
