Frances King Williams, 88, of Louisa, departed this life Wednesday, May 4, 2016 after a long illness at Louisa HealthCare Center in Louisa, VA. She was the daughter of the late Coriene King.
Frances adored her family and friends. She was a cheerful friend to everyone she knew. She enjoyed cooking and spending precious time with family and friends.
Frances was preceded in death by three children, Gloria Ann, Mamie (June) and Clarence Williams.
She was the wife of the late Howard T. Williams and leaves to cherish her memory: Alreatha Butler, Connie Reid (Charles) Shirley Williams, Frankie Williams (Shirley), Michael and Cecil Williams, all of Louisa, VA; 28 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Lucas; one special aunt, Annie King; one devoted cousin, Lillian Thompson; four devoted friends, Bernice Johnson, Pearl Burruss, Iris (Ann) Smith, Edna Holt and Mary Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Thessalonia Baptist Church in Mineral VA with the Reverend Rudy Brooks officiating and Reverend Henry Truzy, eulogist. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.
