Fay Stone Quarles, 67 of Louisa, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at residence in Louisa, Virginia.

Born Monday, November 17, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert Stone, Sr., and Fay E. Courtney Stone. She was the wife of Gary Tyrone Quarles; married on August 19, 1986.

She was a graduate of Louisa County High School class of 1971.

Fay was employed with UVA Medical Center for 30 years and Medical Associates of Louisa for 9 years.

She was a member of Zion Travelers Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Gary Tyrone Quarles; one son, Lamar T. Quarles; stepdaughter, Tilia Arnette; grandson, Joshua Arnette; two brothers, Sylvester Courtney (Jane) and Robert Stone, Jr. (Shelia). Also surviving are four nephews, Eric Courtney, Blaine Courtney, Bryson Stone and Mekiah Stone and two very special friends, Thelma Sims and Karen Sanner.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 in The Sun Chapel @ D. D. Watson, Louisa with Rev. Austin Bates officiating.

Interment will follow in Zion Travelers Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisa, Virginia.
