Fannie Catherine Moore, 64, of Mineral went to be with Jesus on Thursday January 28, 2010 at the University of Virginia Hospital. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn M. Minor of Leesburg; a son, Christopher J. Moore of Laurel, Maryland; a brother Robert S. Moore of Mineral, three granddaughters, Dominique Moore, Christina Moore, and Troi Minor. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The remains will lie in state on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 12 noon until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. at Rising Sun Baptist Church 6829 Fredericks Hall Road Mineral, Virginia 23117 with the Rev. Frederick Sales officiating. Interment will be will follow in the church cemetery.
