Fannie Ware Brown ,of Palmyra, VA departed this life February 5, 2013, at Hospice of the Piedmont in Charlottesville, VA to meet her Lord and Savior and predeceased family members.

Fannie was born in Goochland, VA and was the daughter of the late John and Maude Ware and the beloved wife of the late Robert "Buster" Brown.

Fannie was a loving and devoted mother to Gary Brown and to his wife Belinda. She was devoted to and loved her grandchildren Kimisha and Isaiah Brown.

Fannie attended Goochland County Public Schools. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age. She joined and was baptized at County Line Baptist Church in Kent's Store, VA. Later, after marriage, Fannie transferred her church membership to St. James Baptist Church in Palmyra, VA where she was member of the choir for many years.

Fannie was a domestic worker for 45 plus years. In addition, she was a caregiver to members of her family and several people in the community.

Fannie is predeceased by her siblings Harold, Evelyn, Arvel and Bernice.

She is survived by her siblings Leon Ware, Sherman Ware Sr., Ernest Ware, Gertrude Ware Carter and her husband Lemeul "Dave" Carter and Diane Norris. Fannie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. James Baptist Church, 17227 James Madison, Highway Palmyra, VA 22963, with the Reverend Karlos O. Johnson, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery.
