Evelyn Lillie Robinson Cook, 93 of Louisa, Virginia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Louisa Health & Rehab Center in Louisa, Virginia .
Born Thursday, February 28, 1924 in Louisa, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Samuel Robinson and the late Essie Anderson Robinson. She was the wife of the late Thomas Ray Cook, Sr.
She attended Louisa County Public Schools.
She was a member of Divine Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by son, Thomas Ray Cook, Jr., Elizabeth Burton and Henrietta Clark.
Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory, two uncles, Melvin Ribinson and Albert Robinson; two nieces, Henrietta Wilkins and Burma Burton and one nephew, Lewis Burton.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Divine Baptist Church, 11933 Shannon Hill Road, Louisa, VA 23093 with Rev. Geraldine Shelton officiating and Rev. Fannie E. Henderson delivering the message of comfort. The committal and benediction will follow in Cook Burton Family Cemetery, Louisa.
