After a brief illness, which she sustained with patience and faith, God called one of His beautiful Angels, Emma "Earlene" Jackson Comfort, to her Heavenly Home Monday, April 6, 2009, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, in the presence of her loved ones.

Her memory will be cherished by her two sons, Frank Jr. and Thomas Comfort; four daughters, Barbara White, Ernestine Moody, Pearlene Comfort and Muriel Murphy; two daughters-in-law, Diane and Simone Comfort; son-in-law Samuel Murphy; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Branch Fork Baptist Church, 6930 Stubbs Bridge Road, Unionville, Virginia 22567(Spotsylvania County), with Elder Robert Christmas officiating. Interment will follow in the Branch Fork Memorial Garden Cemetery.
