Edward Joseph Lewis , Jr., 62 of Willingboro, NJ passed  away at home in Louisa, VA  on Monday, August 26, 2024.  Born on February 6, 1962 in Philadelphia,  PA, he was the first born son of Judith Lewis Banks and the late Edward Joseph Lewis, Sr.

Joey graduated from J F Kennedy High School in 1980.  He attended Cheyney University. After leaving Cheyney he became a roulette dealer at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. Over the next course of years, Joey pursued barbering, cooking and he loved singing. He became a member of First Baptist Church in Louisa  and sang on the choir. He also was in a singing group, the Spirit of Truth Community Group which he enjoyed so much. He was an outgoing, loving son and brother.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Lewis Banks, step father, Clinton Banks; sister, Michelle Lewis-Clark(Robert Clark); brothers, Scott Lewis(Kimberly Lewis) and Anwar Banks(Nadirah Banks) and uncles, Martin Lewis; Rev. Kenneth Grasty and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joey will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
