Edna C. Clark, departed this life on Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home in Louisa Co, VA, surrounded by her family members.

Edna was born to the late Eddie Lee and Lillian Hayden on June 22, 1947.  She  accepted Christ at an early age, and joined the Philippi Christian Church where attended regularly until her health failed.  She served as a member of the hospitality committee.

She was predeceased by her mother,  Lillian and father,  Eddie Lee Hayden; one sister, Ida C. Brooks; and 3 brothers, Walter, Stanley and Carl Hayden.

She leaves to mourn her loss, a devoted husband of 45 years, Lawrence W. Clark; four children, Alan C. Clark (friend, Keisha), Leslie A. Johnson (Melvin), Latanya Smith (Michael) and Tawanda Anderson (Carlos); 9 grandchildren, Sierra, Idris, Aaliyah, CJ, Brandy, Anthony, Takiyah, London and Carter; 3 great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Remi, and Legend; one sister, Laura Payne; one brother, Willie Hayden (Brenda); 3 brothers-in-law; Floyd (Jean), Kelley Clark (Dorothy), and Harry Brooks; 2 sisters-in-law, Pastor Fannie Henderson (Nathaniel) and Gracie Smith (Johnny); a devoted niece and friend Karen Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Philippi Christian Church, 7133 Jefferson Highway Mineral, VA conducted by Reverend Temple Anderson, Sr. with burial in the Philippi Christian Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be held 4:00- 7:00pm Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson Louisa.
