Dreamer Estella Hope Biglow, 94 of Fort Washington, Maryland died on Monday, September 21, 2015, at Morningside House of St. Charles in Waldorf, Maryland.

Born Monday, May 16, 1921 in Louisa, Virginia , she was the daughter of Ruth Hart Thurston. She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony D. Biglow.

Dreamer accepted the Lord and joined the Mt. Gilliam Old Site Baptist Church in Louisa. After graduating from Louisa Training School, she attended Virginia State University in Petersburg.

She went to Washington, D.C., in 1943 to work at the U.S. War Production Board; there she met Earl Biglow whom she married in 1946. From this union they produced three sons, Earl Jr, Grafton and Anthony. Dreamer was widowed in 1979 after 33 years of marriage and finally retired from the federal government in 1998.

Dreamer lived in Fort Washington, Maryland, but built a house in Louisa for retirement. She joined Fort Foote Baptist Church and sang in the choir.

Dreamer is survived by two sons, Earl Jr., and Grafton; daughter-in-law, Karol Biglow; six grandchildren, Hope McCallum, Holly Biglow, Earl Biglow, Nicholas Biglow, Michael Biglow and Carly Biglow; two great granddaughters and many other relatives and friends.

Dreamer was a loving person and a wonderful mother. She had a long life here on earth, but now she is home with the Lord and many others that she loved.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Mt. Gilliam Old Site Baptist Church, 4161 Chalk Level Road Louisa, VA 23093. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilliam OS Baptist Church Cemetery, Mineral, VA.
