Dorothy Lee Washington 70, of Charlottesville, Virginia departed this life on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at University Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was born in Charlottesville, VA, May 17, 1951.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Allen and her brother Irvin Allen.

Dorothy worked in the domestic department at university hospital, in Charlottesville, VA for 14 years. She was employed at the Frank IX & son for 5 years in Charlottesville, VA. Dorothy had a love for children, she start a small day care business in her home for numeral of years. Then her last job was working for Public Partnership 2 years as an in home provider with the elderly.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband Charles Washington of Charlottesville; her two step-sons, Carlton Arnold and Derrick Carter of Charlottesville; one sister, Mary Allen, of Charlottesville; two brothers, Sam and George Allen of Charlottesville and a host of nieces and nephews.
