Dorothy Marie Price Johnson (Cutie) of Louisa, Va departed this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at her home. She was the daughter of the late John and Allie Timberlake Price. She was born on March 17, 1922.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Dorothy was a ray of sunshine in our lives. Her face and voice has vanished, but memories of the warmth of her spirit and the pureness of her heart will forever remain with those of us who knew and treasured her.

Dorothy was baptized at an early age where she joined County Line Baptist Church, Kents Store, VA. She later moved her membership to Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Louisa, VA.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Wisner Johnson; sons, Calvin and Charlie Johnson; great grandchild, Joshua Shaw and son-in-law, Floyd Jasper.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Clarance (Joan), Linwood (Anniebel) and Darryl Johnson; nine daughters, Lizzie Jasper, Viola Evans (Thomas), Elnora Goode (John), Thelma Evans (Lewis), Berlean Haden (Houston), Cornelia Mealy (Alfonzo), Loretta Carr (Donald), Dorothy Clark (Kelly) and Grace Robinson (Harold); sister, Annie P. Price; two sisters-in-law, Mildred P. Johnson and Pearl P. Johnson; seventeen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, August 10, 2015 at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, 3662 Roundabout Road, Louisa, VA with the Reverend Austin G. Bates, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
