Donald Fitzgerald Jackson entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2018, at his residence surround by his family. His life began August 15, 1969. He was the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn Jackson. Donald was preceded in death by Dwight Jackson, Thomas A. Jackson, and Evelyn Jackson. Donald confessed Christ at an early age by joining Byrd Grove Baptist Church. Donald attended Fluvanna County Public Schools. Donald loved to play basketball at a young age, love working on cars, and loved to help others in the community. He also loved good country food. Thanksgiving, he would say, "Sister Brenda, are you cooking collard greens and potato salad? That's what I'm talking about!" Donald's favorite pet companion was named Izzy Boy. Donald was very soft spoken and a humble guy.

Donald leaves to celebrate his entry into eternal peace and rest, to his sisters, Brenda Jackson of Capitol Heights, MD, Debra Morton Robinson of Capitol Heights, MD, Kimberly Gibbs of Suitland, MD, Wanda and Saundra K. Jackson of Kents Store, VA; one uncle, Gilbert Jackson ; aunts, Thelma Jackson, Helen Hubert, and Christian Evans and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Friday, July 13 at Byrd Grove Baptist Church, Kents Store, VA, with Elder Robert Brice, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
