Deloris Ann Morris Johnson entered into eternal life on December 5, 2012. Deloris was born on November 22, 1936, in Louisa County, Virginia to the late Thomas and Gladys Morris.

She was baptized and became a member of the Mount Gilliam Baptist Church at an early age.
Deloris completed her formal education in the Louisa County School system.

She later moved to Alexandria, Virginia where she met and married John Johnson. To this union was born two children, Michael and Michelle Johnson. Deloris and John returned to Louisa after their retirement.

Deloris was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Jr. (Pete) and Hilton.

She is survived by her husband John; children, Michael (Karen) and Michelle; grandchildren, Michael, Anita, David, Dillian, and Eviana ; four brothers, Curtis (Beulah), George (Alice), James (Terri)and Donald (Parthenia); one sister, Dora (Amon); one sister-in-law, Rita Monk and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel with Elder Lynn Beanum, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilliam Old Site Baptist Church Cemetery, 4161 Chalklevel Road, Louisa, VA.
