Our beloved sister, Darlene Thelma Henson, departed this life on May 3, 2022 at UVA Hospice House in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Darlene was born on March 31, 1955 to the late Clarence R. and Loretta I. Crawley Henson in Washington, D.C.  She was raised in Mineral, Virginia and attended Louisa County Public Schools.  As an adult she lived in Richmond, Virginia for many years until her move back home with her mother and brother.  Darlene worked several jobs, one of which was with Woolfolk Manufacturing, Louisa, Virginia.

Darlene was baptized at Rising Sun Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Edward Taylor, at an early age.

She was kindhearted, loving, and a fun person to be around.  She will be tremendously missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Darlene was preceded in death b her parents:  Clarence and Loretta; and brother:  Gregory.  She leaves to treasure her memory four brothers:  Clarence, Jr. of Mineral, Jerome (Bernadine), Brian (Yvonne) of Fredericksburg, and Anthony (Cheryl) of Louisa; four nieces; five nephews; nineteen great-nieces and nephews; one aunt:  Ms. Joan Crawley of Mississauga Ontario, Canada; special cousin:  James Henson; two god-children:  Ricky Shelton and Shanice Perkins; and a host of cousins and friends.
