IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daisy Bell
Hutton
July 5, 1927 – July 5, 2020
Daisy Bell Hutton was born in Shelby, N. C. to the late Benjamin Williams and Ossie (Pierce) Williams on July 5, 1927. She grew up and was educated in Washington, DC.
She began working in nursing and then later insurance, but settled in at NIH having a career as a Dietician and retired in the mid 80's.
She was always at home in the kitchen, where she loved to do her cooking and pastry making of which she extremely good at.
She was married to James Thomas Hawkins and from this union, her only child, Carol T. Gilbert was born, who is now deceased (Sept. 1999). She divorced and remarried Richard W. Hutton who preceded her in death in November of 1975.
Also preceding her in death are three brothers, James Cleveland Williams, Donald Richard Williams and Robert Earl Williams; sisters, Fannie Carroway, Bennie Ruth Costen and Nellie Williams.
She leaves to mourn one brother, Charles David Wiliams; one sister, Brunetta Prather; two grandsons, Syafadeen Waliullah and Steven M. Gilbert; thirteen grands, four great-grand children, a list of nephews and nieces and an endless list of friends near and dear…too many to count around the world.
Creator of the Heavens and Earth… have mercy and please accept our Beloved Granny, let her charity and the feeding of your creation and her final sickness be a cleansing and admit her to Heaven, a fitting place for a beautiful woman who's charity started at home and went around the world finally ending at home again.
