On Monday, March 16, 2015, Cynthia Frye Williams went home to be with the Lord peacefully, with her children by her side.
Cynthia was the loving daughter of Landary and Alice Frye, who both preceded her in death.
Cynthia grew up in Louisa County. She attended the public schools and began her career working as a teacher's aide in the Louisa County Public School system. She also worked for the Housing Authority in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She is survived by her two children, Cedric Racellous Williams and Ciara Rayne Williams; her sister, Tonya Brooks; two nieces, Kelly Maria Nelson and Natasha Nicole Walker (Quin-Darius, husband); a great-niece, Mahogany Walker; two uncles, Franklin Frye (Irene) and Marcellous Frye (Diane); four aunts, Rena Poindexter, Rebecca Childs, Ella Childs, Louise Frye and Juanita Frye; and a host of cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 864 Pendleton Road Mineral, Virginia, with the Rev. William House officiating.
