Corrie Kilbert Morris, Jr, fondly known as Junie, departed this life on Friday, May 27, 2011, after a lengthy illness at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was 77 years old.
He was born August 5, 1933 in Louisa County. He was the only son of the late Corrie,Sr and Amanda Morris. He was preceded in death by two of his sons, Clyde and Gregory in 1994 and a sister, Connie Morris.

Corrie joined Zion Travelers Baptist Church at an early age. He served as an usher and a deacon. He later moved his membership to Galilee Baptist Church.
Corrie was known for his elaborate stories of his life of working at the sawmill and on the farm. He had an uncanny passion for working metal and wood puzzles as well as playing rounds of dominoes.
Most of all, he was proud of his family. He married Irene Timberlake in 1954 and from this union was blessed with five children. He would often speak of his children and grandchildren. He worked for Cecil Harlow as a foreman at the sawmill for 43 years. Shortly after leaving this job, his health began to decline.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and faithful wife, Irene; two daughters, Martha Fouad of Richmond, VA, Mary Ellis and her husband Ron of Charleston, WV and one son, Rickey Morris of Louisa, VA; seven grandchildren, Sarah Morris, Crystal Curry(Brian), LaToya Washington, Jennifer Ellis, Clyde Morris, Jr, Jocelyn Ellis, and Rickey Morris, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Da'Quanvion and De'zyire and a daughter-in-law, Dale Morris Bradshaw.
He also leaves four sisters, Martha Brice (Russell), Jean Trice, Josephine Timberlake (Leroy) all of Louisa, and Emma Washington of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law, LeeAnna Morris, Gracie Price, Pauline Payne (Johnnie), and Mary Alice Payne, three brothers-in-law, Melvin (Louise), Alphonso (Viola) Wilbert Timberlake (Eleanor) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and cousins.
