Gordonsville - Cordrick D. (Makeen) Byers , 61, of Louisa, VA was freed to meet Allah on Sunday, July 14, 2024.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Angela S. Byers, a son Carlos of Charlottesville, VA and a daughter Corneesha of Charlottesville. eight grandchildren. His parents Donald and Mary Byers of North Garden, VA. Two brothers Kevin of North Garden, VA Darrell and his wife Lisa of Palmyra, VA; two sisters Crystal of North Garden, VA and Jeneen and her husband Fred Smith of North Garden, VA. Uncles and Aunts, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives. His mother-in-love Annie B. Spivey of Richmond, VA. Other in-laws to include, Marvin and his wife Tammy Walker of Richmond, VA, Charles and his wife Anne Winston of Richmond, VA, Dayton and his wife Eleanor Williams of Richmond, VA, Dennis and his wife Cynthia Spivey of Maryland, Delcinia White of Adrew, SC and William Spivey of Richmond, VA. Two special friends A. Ray Mosby and Charles Agee. A childhood family Jimmie, Lil Jim, Kim and Danny Bunch. An adopted brother Mike Easton of Palmyra.
He was preceded in death by his Father-in- love John Spivey, his grandparents Richard and Edith Byers and John and Sallie Stevens. A close and dear uncle Clinton D. Byers, and a brother-in-love Eddison Spivey.
Cordrick was a loyal Washington Redskins and North Carolina Tarheels fan.
