Cora Veronica Taliaferro, 67 of Louisa, Virginia died on Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia .
Born Tuesday, September 7, 1943 in Louisa, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late William T. Taliaferro and the late Tyola Henson Taliaferro. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond L. and William H. Taliaferro.
She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church where she attend until her health began to decline.
Surviving are daughter, Pamela E Taliaferro of Louisa, VA, brother, Nelson E Taliaferro of Troy, VA, sisters, Fannie B. Grooms, Connie L Taliaferro and Tyola R Brown and her husband Jesse, all of Louisa, VA; Etta M Taliaferro of Charlottesville, VA and Bertha L Brown and her husband James of Palmyra, VA.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Springfield Baptist Church 1042 Zion Road Troy,VA 22974 with the Rev. Howard Grooms officiating.
Interment will be in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
