Clarence Arnett (Jack) Morris, Father, Grandfather,
Great Grandfather and Brother, departed this life on
Friday, October 3, 2008. Jack was born August 23,
1933 to the late Isom C. and Mable B. Morris in Louisa,
Virginia. He attended Louisa County Public Schools.
He was married to Bernice E. Farmer and to this
union three children were born.
Jack was a man who would extend his hand to help
anyone. If he considered you as a friend, you were a
friend for life.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children,
Celestine Durant, Roslind Morris and Darnell Morris;
one sone-in-law, James Dursant; four sisters, Frances
Richardson, Helen Morris, both of Washington, D.C.,
Julia Cooley and Charlotte King, both of Mineral,
Virginia; two brothers-in-law, Willie Cooley and
Preston Farmer, Jr.; three sisters-in-law, Doris Wimbish,
Henrietta Evans and Margaret Ann Jones; grandchildren,
Preston "Rusty" Crawford, Shanda Banks, Rashard
Morris, Darshia Morris, Darnell Morris, Jr., Tatiana
Crawford and Shawntavia C. Crawford; a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Mt. Gilliam Baptist Church (Old Site) with the Rev. Sherman Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
