Clarence Robert Henson, Jr . "Junie" , departed this life on May 5, 2024 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. Junie was born on June 30, 1957 to the late Clarence R. Henson, Sr. and Loretta I. Henson. Junie grew up 'over the track', those who know about over the track, thank you.

Junie suffered with asthma as a child and often could not join his siblings and friends as they played outside, which made him the person he became. Junie was kind, but private.

He was baptized and became a member of the Rising Baptist Church. He was educated in the Louisa County School System and made his mark in the world holding several jobs before he became disabled and had to leave the workforce.

Preceding him in death were his parents: Clarence Sr. (1990) and Loretta (2012); his brother Gregory (2013); and his sister Darlene (2022).

Junie leaves love and to cherish his memories his two children: Lynn Jerome Mason and Lamont Mason. God blessed Patsy E Horton and Junie with these gifts. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers: Jerome (Bernadine), Brian (Yvonne), and Anthony "Tony" (Cheryl): an aunt in Canada:  Joan Crawley; also left to cherish his memory are his five grandchildren, Braylen, Brooklyn, Jalynn, Maliyah and Malayah, three nephews and four nieces,a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
