On Monday, November 20, 2023 at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charles Nathaniel Waddy was called to eternal rest.  He was born on July 20, 1953 to the late James E. Waddy and Alice M. Waddy.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome and Lorenzo Waddy.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Shabra Smith; a son-in-law, Keron Smith; four sons, Kareem, Travis, Sentell, and Japel; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Randolph Waddy (Cynthia); three sisters, Carolyn, Pam and Pandora Waddy; mother of his children, Barbara and a hosts of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held noon Friday, December 1, 2023 in The Sun Chapel @ D. D. Watson, Louisa, with Rev. Virginia Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery.
