Charles "Zeke" Palmer Sponaugle, Jr., 52, of Louisa, died on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at his residence. He was born on December 17, 1957, in Richmond, Virginia to the late Charles Palmer Sponaugle and Clara Jane Twigg Sponaugle. Mr. Ssponaugle is survived by one daughter, Stacy Sponaugle, and two sons; Richard "Ricky" Sponaugle and Joseph "Joe" Sponaugle all of Louisa, Va. He is also survived by five sisters; Carol Anthony, Kathy Farmer, Kitty Cooper, Angela Hawk and Jenny Sponaugle, and three brothers, Jerrel Steadman, Denny Sponaugle, Jimmy Sponaugle, he is also survived by seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles "Charlie" P. Steadman Jr., parents, Charles Palmer Sponaugle and Clara Jane Twigg Sponaugle. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel, Louisa. Conducted by the Rev. Josh Turner.
