Charles F. Holland, known to his family and friends as "Ricky" departed this life on September 8, 2018. Ricky was born March 16, 1953 to the late Broaudus and Treatie Holland.

Ricky was a graduate of Louisa County High School and soon after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served in the administrative capacity at the Pentagon. He also served on Aircraft carriers USS John F. Kennedy CV-67 and USS Forrestal CV-59. During his time in the Navy Ricky was deployed to Saudi Arabia during The Gulf War – Operation Desert Storm. He retired honorably Chief Petty Officer in 1992.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory seven sisters, Betty Burruss, Sue Scott, Sunday Holland, Lisa Tyler, Denise Anderson, Patricia Cooper, Crystal Holland and four brothers, John Holland, James Holland, Kirk Holland, and Clyde Holland.

Ricky was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Holland.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 12:00pm at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, 3262 Roundabout Rd, Louisa VA 23093.
