On April 2, 2022, Cecil Wayne Williams entered eternal rest with our Lord and Savior.  He was born December 22, 1960 in Charlottesville, VA to the late Howard and Frances King Williams.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by three sisters, Gloria Ann, Mamie June and Alreatha Butler and two brothers, Clarence, and Frankie Williams.

Cecil attended the Louisa County Public School System.  He joined Thessalonia Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend Green.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Lance Poindexter, Orlando Scott both of Charlottesville; two sisters, Shirley Williams and Connie Reid (Charles) and one brother, Jerry Michael Williams all of Louisa; one aunt, Lorraine Lucas of Gordonsville; one sister-n-law, Shirley Williams of Louisa; four grandchildren, Orlando Wayne Scott, Jr., Oliva Willow Scott, Arianna Poindexter and Zy'air Shifflett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
