Carolyn Marie Carter, 57, died at the University of Virginia Medical Center on July 9, 2022. She was born April 22, 1965 in Charlottesville, Virginia to Carroll Markelle Carter, now deceased, and Joyce Marie (Coleman) Carter.

Carolyn is survived by her dear mother and two children, Avanté Carter of Charlottesville, Virginia and Christopher Carter of Atlanta, Georgia.

The family will receive family and friends Saturday July 23, 2022 at 11am at The Haven. 112 W Market Street, Charlottesville Virginia 22902. Carolyn's final resting place will be at 15400 James Madison Hwy, Palmyra, VA 22963 where she will be buried alongside her father and paternal family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to D.D. Watson Mortician, Inc, 117 West Street Louisa, VA 23093. Condolences may be offered to the family at ww.ddwatsonlouisa.com.
