A Time to be Born Calvin Jerome "Ronnie" Henson, age 43 was born January 25, 1968 in Charlottesville, VA. He was the son of Thomas Hunter and the late Pearline "Sue" Henson.
A Time for Every Purpose Under Heaven Ronny attended Louisa County Public Schools. He held various jobs and was very good at whatever he chose to do. His greatest love was detailing cars and he was the best. He was a person we all could call on for help knew that he would be right there. He was also a wonderful caretaker to many. Ronny was always the life of a party and would dance all night.
A Time to Die On September 1, 2011 at the Louisa Health Care Center, after a courageous battle with cancer, Ronny put on his dancing shoes one more time and took flight to meet our Father in Heaven.
A Time to Mourn His loving mother, Pearline Henson, grandparents, Dorothy Henson, Robert Johnson, Sam and Rebecca Hunter and a host of aunts and uncles, preceded Ronny in death.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Thomas Hunter (Rosetta) of Louisa; one special and devoted brother, Thomas "Mike" Henson of Mineral; three sisters, Shamara and Meoshi Hunter and Shawn Shelton, all of Louisa; one devoted brother-n-law, Torrey Shelton; two nieces, Morgan Cosby and KeiAjha Shelton; one nephew, Torrey Shelton, Jr.; a special and devoted aunt, Pauline Sally Henson; three additional aunts, Marie Davis (Ruby), Fannie Shelton (George) and Dorothy Desper; a loved and devoted uncle, Thomas "Pie" Henson; two additional uncles, Howard Hunter (Willie) and Elder Linwood Sawyer (Yvonne); a special great aunt, Mattie Henson;Alice Henson,and cousin Gladys Anderson, several additional great aunts and uncles; devoted cousins, Gerald Henson, Katrina Hunter and John Mickens; special family and friends, Cierra, Nia and Doris Henson, Lorraine Jackson, Patricia Wells, Yvonne Johnson & family and a host of other cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Rising Sun Baptist Church 6829 Fredericks Hall Road Mineral, VA 23117 with Rev. Fred Sales officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
