Brenda Louise Hill Fortune, 57 of Louisa, Virginia, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Born Tuesday, April 19, 1960 in Richmond, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Frank Edward and Gloria Crawford Hill.

After graduating from Louisa County Public Schools, Brenda attended the National School of Cosmetology of Richmond, VA.

Surviving are her husband, Mark D. Fortune; sons, Anthony L Durrette(Christina) of Louisa, VA and Charles Durrette of Baskerville; VA; one daughter, Skereka Jenkins; two sisters-in-law, Mary Garris and Elsie Mason(Steve) of Louisa; one brother-in-law, Alfred Fortune; a devoted cousin, Merlyn Edwards; five grandchildren, and host of other cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at The Sun Chapel @D. D. Watson Mortician, Louisa; interment will follow in Bright Hope Baptist Church, Louisa, .
