Bessie Robinson Johnson, 84, of Louisa, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2009 at Louisa Health Center.
She was born May 5, 1925 in Louisa County to the late Joseph Robinson and Flora Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lloyd Johnson, her daughter, Barbara Ann Johnson, her son, John E. Johnson and her brother Milton Robinson.
Bessie was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church, where she was a missionary and a nurse. She was employed by Comdial for over 20 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving sister, Martha Brice; a devoted daughter-n-law of 44 years, Leona Scott Johnson; a grandson, Timothy A. Johnsn; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley Johnson, all of Louisa, Virginia; a devoted nephew, Richard Brice and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Noon Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Galilee Baptist Church 3598 Three Notch Road Frencliff, Virginia 23053 with the Rev. Otis R. Spellman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
