Berneter E. Anderson, 85 of Spotsylvania County went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Linward B. Anderson, and their son, the late Howard L. Anderson, and great grandson Michael D. Layne.

She is survived by sons Bernard, Emmett (Deborah), daughters Doretha (Jimmy), Bernadette (Ken), Tracy (Greg), and Denise (Patrick). Eleven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a devoted caretaker Linda Carter, and a host of family and friends.

Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson Louisa. And one hour prior to the service at the church.

A homegoing celebration will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Branch Fork Baptist Church, 6930 Stubbs Bridge Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551 with the Rev. Donnell Comfort officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
