Bascom Leroy Boyd, 71 of Bumpass, Virginia died on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, Virginia .
Born Tuesday, June 15, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia , he was the son of the late James Boyd and the late Virgie Dickerson Boyd.
He was a disabled veteran.
He served in the Army from 1966 until 1972.
Surviving are brother, Rufus Monroe Garrison of Bumpass, VA;
he is also survived by a host of friends who deeply loved him
