Barbara Jean Clark departed our presence and entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2022 at Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, VA.

Barbara was born June 24,1945 to Barbara Ann Scott and George Jefferson Holland, who preceded her in death.  She is also preceded by her husband of 55 years, Floyd Nelson Clark; her son, Floyd Kerry Clark; two grandsons, Kerry Clark and Martin Baker; one sister, Shirley Holland Cooke; six brothers, Harry Russell Holland, George Holland, Robert Holland, Roy Holland, Marshall Holland and Percy Holland, all of Louisa.

Barbara was a member of Foster Creek Baptist Church where she was baptized, and later joined Divine Baptist Church of Louisa. She Loved the Lord and always talked about how great he is for blessing her with such a beautiful family. Floyd, Ron and Kerry were her world. She was a devoted wife and mother. Barbara was known for her beauty and her smile and always full of joy to everyone.

She was a graduate of A.G Richardson High School with the love of life, Floyd. She loved people and it was known how she worked for many years as a CNA in Louisa and other areas. Barbara received Achievement certificates for CNA from VA State Board of Nursing 11-2-1991; certificate from Orange County Welfare Department; Nursing Assistant Program as Care Aide, Nov, 2, 1991 and Keyboarding from Piedmont Technical Center Regional Board, April 30, 1992, She also received an Outstanding Performance Award from Health Reliance on June 21,1996 for her 10 yr. anniversary from  1983-1993.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Ron Anthony Clark; two sisters, Yvonne Athey, and Marian Scott; three sisters-n-law, Claudette Holland, Fannie Henderson and Gracie Smith (Johnnie), all of Louisa; brother-n-law, Kelley Clark (Dorothy) of Louisa; three granddaughters, Quianna Clark of Richmond, Ashley Clark of Spotsylvania and Alivya Burley of Spotsylvania; beloved great grandchildren of Spotsylvania and Richmond; lifelong friends, Shirley Williams, Patricia Waller, Pearl Saunders and Judy Minor and much loved host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
