Austin C. Robinson 62, of Louisa, VA departed this life on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 21, 1951, in Charlottesville, VA to the late Thomas O. and Annie Bible Robinson.

He is survived his devoted wife, Deborah Robinson of Louisa, VA; three daughters, Patrice Shelton(James) of Richmond, VA, Pamela Thompson (Errick) of Kent Store, VA , Montese Robinson (fiancé Anthony Price) of Louisa,VA; one son, Austin Robinson (Amber) of Louisa , VA; one brother, Kenneth Russell of Louisa, VA; two sisters, Minerva Robinson of Louisa, VA and Barbara Smith of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren, Ranisha Lee of Kents Store, VA , Shamar Shelton, Destyni and Daveney Robinson, all of Louisa, VA and Jamie Shelton of Richmond, VA; nine sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; seven aunts; three uncles, numerous nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Irma Quarles and Charles Pleasants (who he referred to as his sister and brother), Henry and Pam Coleman and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was employed by Poore's Lumber Company for many years and then moved on to Louisa Garage, where he worked until his health began to fail. He was a kind and good hearted person who would help anyone. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Emily Couric Cancer Center and the Hospice of Piedmont for their assistance during Austin's illness.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roger E. Braxton, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Baptist Church Cemetery.
