Anna Braxton White, 81, of Troy, Virginia, departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

She was born on April 21st, 1939, in Louisa, VA, the daughter of the late Foscoe Braxton and Annabelle Braxton Henson. Anna attended Louisa County Schools. She later lived a long life and had a successful career at the University of Virginia. Anna was loved and cherished by all those that knew her.

Anna was preceded in death by her late husband George White Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Tammy White of Tampa, Florida; a son George Jr. and Juanita of Palmyra; a sister-in-law Elissa Scott of Louisa; 3 granddaughters, Chantelle Howerton of Tampa, Teidra White of Louisa, Daniesha Shelton of Palmyra, and a cherished grandson Jayvin White of Palmyra. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2pm at the White Family Cemetery Troy, VA. Viewing services will be offered Monday from 5-7pm in The Sun Chapel at D. D. Watson, Louisa.

COVID restrictions, we will not be having refreshments after the service.
