It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Ann Haden Wilkins of Goochland, VA, who passed away on Monday afternoon, January 20, 2025, at the age of 83. She was a woman of strong character and unwavering love, serving as a true cornerstone for our family. While her departure leaves a void in our hearts, we find solace in knowing she had a profound faith in the Lord and leaves behind a legacy of great love – a life well-lived and many deeply cherished relationships.
She is survived by one sister, Parfena H. Quarles of Goochland; three brothers, Reverend Dr. Joseph Haden Sr. (Diane) of Fort Washington, MD, Dr. Charles Benjamin Haden Jr., MD (Joyce) of Goochland, VA, and Cornell Haden of Roanoke, VA, along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
The Haden family extends an invitation to all who knew and loved her to attend her Homegoing services on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Second Union Baptist Church, 2843 Hadensville-Fife Road, Goochland, VA.
Public Viewing will be held on the day of service from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, followed by a Time of Sharing from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM. Reverend Dr. Joseph Haden Sr. and Bishop Charles Benjamin Haden Jr., MD will officiate, with Pastor Stevie M. Trent, eulogist.
To the Haden-Wilkins family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
