Richmond - Andria Celestine Wright made her debut into this world on November 21,1961, and flew away to be at rest on July 12, 2024.
As a child she loved life and was the apple of her grandmother's eye, spending most of her days and nights with Mama Ethel and Grandpa Chiles and the rest of the Mansfield and Wright Clan. Everywhere she went there was someone new to meet.
As a child she participated in the 4-H club and Girl Scouts. She attended the Louisa County public school system. She graduated from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She became a part of the church at an early age. There she participated in Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir.
Andria used her artistic abilities in drafting and architecture in decorating for parties, making jewelry sets and holiday wreaths and other trinkets that earned her spending money. She enjoyed using her catering skills for weddings receptions, reunions, and other social events.
Several retail careers claimed her attention including CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General, and finally the Family Dollar Enterprise where she served as manager for 30 plus years until her health declined. Her mother and the rest of her family now close the story of Andria's Legacy of Love that shall never lose its power.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Deacon Ceola Wright; mother, a devoted friend, Becky McMahon; and a host of family and friends.
To the Wright family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.
