Alvernes "V" Coleman Jr., of Mineral, passed away at his home Friday, January 8, 2016 at the age of 43. Alvernes was born April 10, 1972, the son of Alvernes Sr. and Beth Coleman of Montpelier.
Alvernes is survived by his parents, Alvernes and Beth Coleman; his wife, Michelle Walker-Coleman; five children, Devezian Jasper, Trey Coleman, Curtis Walker, McKayla Coleman, Aalyas Coleman; six stepchildren, Tyler Walker, Cody Walker, Tabatha Byiers, Timothy Walker, Jayden Roach and his baby, Riley Roach; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alvernes was walked into heaven by his brother, Lawrence Peter Coleman.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 14 at New Life Community Church, Louisa.
