Alma Price, 81 of Louisa, VA, widow of Willard M. Price Jr.  departed this life on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at The Laurels of Charlottesville.

She was born December 15, 1937 to the late Arsey and Gertie Price of Louisa, VA.  She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

She joined County Line Baptist Church at an early age where she served faithfully; singing on the Senior Choir and serving as a deaconess for many years.

Her memories will be cherished by her devoted daughter Rosetta Hayden; three sons – Morton (Clarissa) Price, Grayling (Margaret) Price both of Louisa, VA, and Tyrone Price of Prince George, VA.  Four sisters – Pearl Johnson, Geraldine (Lloyd) Walker, Annette (Lonnie) Dickerson, Joyce (Jeff) Meritte, all of Louisa, VA; and Jane (James) Cox, of Powhatan, VA.  One brother, Curmay Price of Cartersville, VA.  Alma was also blessed with eight grandchildren; two special grandchildren -- Janice Price and Brittney Hayden; and seven great grandchildren.  Also left to cherish memories, two sister-in-laws; one devoted Aunt, Annie Porter Price of Louisa, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service H onoring Deaconess Alma Price will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at County Line Baptist Church 4070 Countyline Road Kents Store, Virginia 23084 with Pastor Wesley Tolliver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
