Alice Cornelia Johnson Daniel, 83 of Mineral, Virginia went to her heavenly home with her loving family by her side Monday, September 14, 2015, at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia .

Born May 10, 1932 in Louisa, Virginia , she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Johnson and Curtis Campbell Johnson. She was the wife of Deacon Jamie Lee Daniel, Sr.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and McKinley Johnson and two sisters, Estelle Booker and Asterine Raines. She was also preceded by three grandchildren, David Haigler, Davette Haigler and Sabre' Daniel.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Deacon Jamie Lee Daniel, Sr.; one sister, Nevada Davis; five children, Solomon, Eunice, Joanie, Jacqueline and Jamie, Jr.; two godchildren, Yvette and Evelyn; eleven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from noon until 7 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Temple of Deliverance (HCOG), 5756 Zachary Taylor Highway, Mineral, VA 23117 with Rev. Barry Carpenter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Mineral, VA.
