Albert Franklin Robinson, a loving and inspiring soul, passed away on June 2, 2026. Born in Louisa, VA on August 7, 1938, Albert was truly a cornerstone of his community, living for over half a century in Queens, New York. Albert was a testament to the power of hard work, dedicating his professional life as a courageous truck driver in the trucking industry. His thoughtful nature and dedication to his work were evident in all he did.

Albert was not only fulfilled by his work, but he was also a beloved figure at the Alpha Phi Alpha Senior Center in Cambria Heights, where he took comfort in daily activities and meals with friends. His hobbies and interactions there were a testament to his warm-heartedness, a quality that made him a beacon of light within the community. His infectious laughter and wisdom will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Albert was the cherished brother of Melvin Robinson, his sister-in-law, Nora Robinson. He was the adored and beloved father-in-law to Kristin Robinson, and the much-loved grandfather to Brianna and Alexander Robinson. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Willie Ann Barrett Robinson, and his son, Frank Robinson. He was also the dear brother to the late Leroy, Whitfield, Stanley, Thomas, William, and Wesley Robinson.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). It was evident in his unwavering faith, in his courage on the road as a truck driver, and in his thoughtful interactions with friends and family.
