Adeline Virginia Richardson Quarles , gained her eternal wings early on Sunday morning, February 5, 2023; she was 96 years old.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Clyde H. Quarles; her mother, Esther Richardson; her brother, Rufus Richardson, and her beloved Nancy Casey.

Adeline leaves four children who were blessed to call her Mom:  Alvin (Janis) Quarles, Lonnie (Mildred) Quarles, Joan (Richard) Brice, Brando Quarles; adored as "Grandma A" by eight grandchildren:  Darius, whom she reared and was more like her son, (Chastity), Quiana (William) Scott, Andre, Byron, Telisha, Alvin John (aka AJ), Kiah, Camille (John) Swope; thirteen great-grandchildren:  Alex, Noah, Kenai, Jonah, Lyric, William (Ace), Wade, Cameron, Mia, Laila, Ari, Mason & Miles; two sister-in-laws, Flossie and Marian Quarles; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation for Adeline will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm with the family receiving friends from 6-7pm. in The Sun Chapel at D.D. Watson, Louisa.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, 102 Meadow Ave, Louisa, VA. 23093.  Viewing will also be available on Saturday, Feb 11, 2023, before the service from 11:30 am until the 12:50 pm.  Private interment follows at Galilee Baptist Church on 3598 Three Notch Road, Kents Store, VA. 23084.
